About the Role

Esper is looking for an individual with a mind for relationship building, technically savvy with the ability to navigate a broad technical knowledge from Android to iOS.  This role will at its core consist of leading short-term project implementations and long-term relationship management whilst dealing with cross-functional internal technical teams to drive customer needs and resolve platform issues.

The Technical Implementation Manager is accountable for enabling Esper customers to experience the full value of Esper Device Infrastructure by driving customer onboarding and feature enhancements. TIM’s are a relentless customer advocate knowing their accounts better than the customer knows themselves and in turn, uses that deep customer knowledge to drive expansion, Esper’s product direction, and more.
Job Requirement

What we’re looking for
  • 3-5 years of project management and technical delivery
  • 2 + years of data analysis
  • Or  2+ sales engineering/technical sales
  • Previous startup experience

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Leading small and large-scale implementations to allow companies to successfully roll out devices on the Esper platform
  • Build strong relationships with customers to understand their business needs
  • Be an internal advocate for your customers and drive implementations towards success
  • Project management across all functional teams to deliver large-scale implementations
  • Run effective customer meetings with clear agendas and outcomes
  • Identify opportunities for expansion using your extensive knowledge of your customer and Esper products
  • Be comfortable operating with uncertainty, and know how to create order from chaos
  • Build credibility and buy-in from teams without authority

Bonus Points if You have
  • Android/iOS/Linux experience
  • Customer service/support experience
  • Experience working with devices (tablets, phones, kiosks, etc)
  • Excellent balance of interpersonal, organizational, and technical skills
  • Managing relationships with key partners or vendors
  • Ability to evangelize and represent a technical community
  • Experience managing cross-functional projects
  • Effective working and partnering with executive-level staff
  • Experience working with hardware partners such as OEMs/ODMs/VARs/3PLs/ISVs

This role is a hybrid role. Employees will be in the office at our Bellevue, WA location 3 days a week and remote 2 days a week.


Compensation Band

$145,000 - $160,000
